Clubs that play on Friday 25

Friday is the Spielabend of the region. From Herrenberg, Leonberg and Böblingen in the west to Winnenden, Murrhardt and Faurndau in the east, more clubs meet on this evening than on any other, and many open the room in the late afternoon for youth training before the adults sit down. Schachklub Bietigheim-Bissingen asks for no registration, the Sportvereinigung Böblingen calls its evening open to everyone who enjoys chess, and Schachverein Herrenberg plays in the attic of the Klosterhof.

Some Friday evenings come with a fixed extra. Schach-Club Sillenbuch plays an open blitz tournament on the first Friday of the month and an open club tournament on the third, Schachclub Ostfildern 1952 a blitz tournament on the second, and Schachclub STRATEG in the Ostend an open live tournament after its training. Schachmatt Botnang meets in the side room of Café Intus in the Bürgerhaus, the Schach-Pinguine of Sulzbach an der Murr in Schloss Lautereck.
