Blitz around Stuttgart is played at the clubs, mostly as a monthly tournament or as a cup that runs through the season. Schachclub Ostfildern 1952 and VfL Sindelfingen hold a monthly blitz tournament, Schachverein Leonberg 1978 a monthly blitz championship and Schachklub e4 Gerlingen a blitz cup made up of a series of evenings; Schachfreunde 59 Kornwestheim play their club blitz championship over several rounds.

Schach-Club Sillenbuch opens its blitz evening on the first Friday of the month to players from outside, and Schachklub Schmiden/Cannstatt in Fellbach invites to open blitz tournaments on Friday evenings through the winter. In Altbach the SVA Masters of the SV include blitz rounds rated by FIDE, and Schachfreunde 1947 Neckartenzlingen, Schachfreunde 1876 Göppingen, TSG Steinheim, SGem Vaihingen/Rohr and Schachklub Bietigheim-Bissingen list blitz among their events too.
